This specimen was lot 36175 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2022), where it sold for $4,800. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. 5000 Dinars, AH 1337 (1919). Ahmad Shah. PCGS MS-62 Prooflike." This type was struck AH 1331-1344 along with a gold 5000 dinars (Fr-85). This is a slightly better date.
Recorded mintage: 165,000.
Specification: 23.03 g, 0.900 fine silver.
