This specimen was lot 23060 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Anna, 1936. Bombay Mint. NGC MS-63. Dot below date. Somewhat muted luster but free of marks." This one anna was struck at the Calcutta mint as part of a type struck 1912-36. The denomination was introduced in 1906 and struck until the end of the Raj in 1947.
