This specimen was lot 46743 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Anna, 1935-(B). Bombay Mint. George V. PCGS MS-65." This type was struck at Bombay (shown here) and Calcutta 1911-20, 1923-30, 1933-36. It is overall a common type and this is a common date. The proofs are rare. The denomination was introduced in 1906 and struck until the end of the Raj in 1947.

Recorded mintage: 41,112,000 plus proofs and restrikes plus 12,952,000 from Calcutta.

Specification: 3.80 g, copper-nickel, 21 mm diameter.
