This specimen was lot 3066 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $96. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH INDIA: Edward VII, 1901-1910, 1 anna, 1907-B, lovely toned example! PCGS graded MS63." This type, struck 1906-10, introduced this denomination, which was struck until the end of the Raj in 1947. Sixteen annas made a rupee.
Recorded mintage: 37,256,000 plus proofs.
