This specimen was lot 1321 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $166.60. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH INDIA: Edward VII, 1901-1910, 1 anna, 1908-B, an attractive example! NGC graded MS63." This type, struck 1906-10, introduced this denomination, which was struck until the end of the Raj in 1947. Sixteen annas made a rupee.
