This type was issued by the province of Holland 1694-1703, 1713-16, 1721, 1734-38, 1748-49, 1762-65, 1790-94 and was tariffed at twenty stuivers. Other provinces also issued this type. Despite the long run of issue and the substantial mintage, it is not often seen at American coin shows.
