This specimen was lot 43055 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Utrecht. Gulden, 1793. NGC MS-63." This type was struck with minor changes 1701-06, 1712-27, 1734-40, 1748-50, 1760-65, 1775-76, 1780-94 and is priced in the SCWC as a common date. Gulden struck prior to 1748 had a plain edge; later dates had reeded edges. One gulden was twenty stuivers. Holland was the largest and wealthiest part of the United Provinces, now the kingdom of the Netherlands.
