This specimen was lot 24495 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $70. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Holland. Gulden, 1794. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. Weakly struck in the centers, lustrous." This type was issued by the province of Holland 1694-1703, 1713-21, 1734-38, 1748-49, 1762-65, 1790-94 and was tariffed at twenty stuivers. Other provinces also issued this type. Despite the long run of issue and the substantial mintage, it is not often seen at American coin shows.

Recorded mintage: 4,877,937 for 1793-94.
