This specimen was lot 47376 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Holland. 3 Gulden, 1795. NGC AU-55." This type was struck 1763-64, 1774, 1791-94 for the province of Holland (see KM 77). It is also KM 9.2 struck 1795-1801 for the Batavian Republic. Issues after 1800 are catalogued as Dav-224.
Recorded mintage: 1,084,305 for 1795-1805.
Specification: 31.42 g, 0.920 fine silver, 39 mm diameter.
