Holland 1749 10 stuivers
The first specimen was lot 1390 in Jean Elsen sale 108 (Brussels, March 2011) where it sold for 115 euros (about US$189 including buyer's fee). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NEDERLAND, HOLLAND, Provincie, AR 10 stuiver (Nederlandse halve gulden), 1749, Droit: Nederlandse maagd met speer en vrijheidshoed. Revers: Gekroond Generaliteitswapen. Mooie patina. Prachtig" (Netherlands, province of Holland, silver ten stuiver (Dutch half gulden) of 1749. Obverse: Dutch maid with spear and pillar; reverse: crowned arms. Nice patina, Extremely Fine.)
The second specimen was lot 2147 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$149 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[2] noted,
"NIEDERLANDE Holland, Provinz 10 Stüber 1749. Gutes vorzüglich. (Netherlands, province of Holland, ten stuivers of 1749, good extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1748-51 and 1761-62 but seems to have been less popular than the more available one gulden. This specimen appears to be the 1749/8 overdate mentioned in the SCWC.

Specification: 5.30 g, .920 fine silver, .156 troy z ASW, the first specimen 5.20 g, the second specimen 5.35 g.
