This scheepjesschelling was struck for Holland, a province of the Netherlands, 1701-61. It is priced fairly low in the SCWC but is seldom seen at American coin shows, particularly in nice condition. These also occasionally turn up struck in gold.
Recorded mintage: unknown but fairly common.
Specification: 4.95 g, 0.583 fine silver, .093 troy oz ASW.
