Holland 1746 ducat Fr-250
This specimen was lot 480 in Schulman auction 379 (Amsterdam, June 2024), where it sold for €380 (about US$488 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLLAND Provincie 1581 - 1795. Dukaat. 1746, Gold Type IIa. Staande ridder met pluim aan helm, zwaard en 7 pijlen in bundel tussen jaartal, zonder roosje na HOL, zonder binnencirkel. Kz. vierkant met tekst MO: ORD: etc. Gladde rand. Enkele hakjes in het veld, doch een nette goudkleur. Prachtig. (province of Holland, ducat of 1746, type IIa. Obverse: standing knight with plumed helmet with sword and bundle of arrows; reverse: tablet with inscription, plain edge. Some marks in the field with nice gold tone, Extremely fine.)"
