This specimen was lot 73295 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2023), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 6 Mariengroschen (1/6 Taler), 1765/4-IAP. Zellerfeld Mint. Georg III (George III of Great Britain). PCGS MS-62. Overdate variety. Struck on a somewhat irregular planchet, this Mint State minor presents soft gray toning with some subtle amber-olive hues around the devices. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1762-84. Mintmaster IAP is listed for 1763-73.
