Künker sale 386, lot 5205

This specimen was lot 5215 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €260 (about US$336 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG-CALENBERG-HANNOVER, AB 1692 KURFÜRSTENTUM HANNOVER, Georg II. 1727-1760. 2/3 Taler (24 Mariengroschen) 1760, Zellerfeld. Feinsilber. Feine Patina, winz. Kratzer, vorzüglich. (electorate of Hannover, George II, 1727-60, two-thirds thaler of 1760, Zellerfeld mint. Fine patina, light scratches, extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1743-60 and is among the more available gulden of the reign.
