This specimen was lot 74568 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 6 Mariengroschen (1/6 Taler), 1760-IBH. Zellerfeld Mint. Georg II August (George II of Great Britain). PCGS AU-53. A lightly worn example with light dove-gray surfaces and ample champagne toning and peripheral cobalt on the obverse. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This is the final date of this type, first struck in 1743.
