This specimen was lot 1149 in Stephen Album sale 32 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2018), where it sold for $105.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRUNSWICK-CALENBERG-HANNOVER: Georg II August of England, 1727-1760, AR mariengroschen, 1751-C, struck in Celle, PCGS graded MS64, ex Don Erickson Collection." The denomination of one mariengroschen was struck in the eighteenth century in numerous types: KM 106 (1716-27), 172 (1727-60), 260 (1738-42, 1751-58, shown here), 278 (1741-47), 345 (1762-99), 351 (1763-76), etc. One thaler = 36 mariengroschen.
