This specimen was lot 1117 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Sovereign, 2002. Elizabeth II. For the Golden Jubliee. In original presentation case. Choice Brilliant Proof." Two sovereigns were struck in 2002, this type and KM 1002 with the familiar St. George and the Dragon reverse.

Recorded mintage: 75,264 + proofs, including the St. George and the Dragon reverse.

Specification: 7.99 g, 0.917 fine gold, 0.235 troy oz AGW.
