This specimen was lot 31728 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), where it sold for $1,980. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Elizabeth II gold Proof 'Queen Mother' 5 Pounds 2002 PR65 Deep Cameo PCGS, Struck in honor of the Queen mother." The queen mother died in 2002 at the age of 101.

Recorded mintage: 3,469,243 (incl. KM 1024) + proofs in copper-nickel and silver plus more proofs in gold.

Specification: KM 1035: copper-nickel, 28.28 g, 38.6 mm diameter; KM-1035a: 0.925 fine silver; KM-1035b: 39.94 g, 0.917 fine gold, AGW 1.1775 oz.
