This specimen was lot 30603 in Stack's Bowers ANA auction (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $88. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/3 Farthing, 1866. NGC MS-64 BN. Hints of orange in fields. Ex: Pittman Collection." This type was struck 1866-68 and 1876-85 for several of Britain's colonies.
Recorded mintage: 576,000.
