This specimen was lot 33330 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $705. The catalog description[1] noted, "Victoria Penny 1866 MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. Bun Head type. With an overall enchanting appearance." This type was struck 1860-74 at London and Heaton with a slightly modified obverse extending to 1894.

Recorded mintage: 9,999,000.

Specification: 9.4 g, bronze, 31 mm diameter.
