This specimen was lot 51295 in Heritage sale 441 (Long Beach, September 2007), where it sold for $575. The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles II Sixpence 1677, AU58 ANACS, a pleasant example of this very scarce type, a bit softly struck in areas but well balanced overall with golden amber toning having hues of blue iridescence. Rare so fine." This type was struck 1674-84 in some numbers and is pretty reasonable in circulated condition but choice examples, as always, are expensive.
