Steve Album sale 51, lot 3086

This specimen was lot 3086 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "ENGLAND: Charles II, 1660-1685, AR sixpence, 1680, key date, F-VF, R2 (Bull), ex Michael More Collection." This type was struck 1674-84 in some numbers and is pretty reasonable in circulated condition but choice examples, as always, are expensive.

Specifications: 3.01 g, 0.925 fine silver, 21 mm diameter.
