This specimen was lot 72312 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Santa Ana, CA, May 2017), where it sold for $211.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, ND (1604-05). James I (1603-25). NGC VF-25. Third bust, beard cut square and stands out. Toned." The SCWC lists six different shillings for James I, none dated. This one is dated to 1604-05 by the fleur-de-lys mintmark on the reverse, which mark was reused in 1623-24 and again in 1625 under Charles I. This type is available but expensive in nice condition.
