This specimen was lot 46286 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (1526-44). London Mint; Arrow mm. Henry VIII. PCGS EF-40. From the Senator Platt Family Collection, started prior to 1870." During the first part of the reign of Henry VIII, the London mint was operated by the government, the Durham mint by the archbishop of York (Thomas Woolsey) and the Canterbury mint by the archbishop of Canterbury (William Warham).
