The second specimen was lot 75347 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (1509-26). London Mint; mm: Portcullis. Henry VIII. PCGS EF-45. Obverse: Facing enthroned king; Reverse: Long cross fourchee. From the Richard August Collection." Pennies were also struck at Canterbury and Durham (S-2332); Durham is the most common.
