This specimen was lot 37017 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (1530-44). Durham Mint; Star mm. Henry VIII. NGC AU-55. Cuthbert Turnstall, bishop." Wikipedia comments,
"Cuthbert Tunstall (otherwise spelt Tunstal or Tonstall; 1474 – 18 November 1559) was an English humanist, bishop, diplomat, administrator and royal adviser. He served as Bishop of Durham during the reigns of Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I."
