This specimen was lot 1654 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "Israel. Judaica, Denmark 1645 4 Skilling. Inscribed JEHOVAH in Hebrew. Issued by Christian IV. Famous issue with Hebrew letters between IUSTUS above and IUDEX below. Silver. Nice Very Fine with light uniform wear and no problems. Deep, uniform toning." This type was minted at Copenhagen 1644-45 and this is the more common of the two dates. It was accompanied by a skilling (KM 131), two skilling (KM 132), 16 skilling (KM 136) and two mark (KM 137). Other denominations exist but were not struck at this time.
