This specimen was lot 69 in Schulman auction 385 (Amsterdam, July 2025), where it sold for €100 (about US$142 including buyer's fees). The auctioneers call this a mark but it is listed in the SCWC as a 16 skilling ("XVI:SKILLING:" on the coin). It was accompanied by a skilling (KM 131), two skilling (KM 132), four skilling (KM 133.1) and two mark (KM 137). Christian IV (r. 1588-1648) had a long but not particularly successful reign. Denmark lost the Torstenson War and had to cede Jämtland, Härjedalen, Idre, Särna, the Baltic Sea islands of Gotland and Ösel, and the province of Halland.

Recorded mintage: unknown.
