This specimen was lot 16762 in the Whittier sale (Heritage auction 410, Long Beach, June 2006) where it sold for $920. A coin with immediate eye appeal. Very rare quality. BC3." While Colombian half dollars are common as a class, even in uncirculated, this is not a common date.
