Sincona sale 63, lot 2627

This specimen was lot 2627 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 21 CHF (about US$26 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"EDELMETALL-AUKTION | CANADA, 15 Dollars 2011. Lunar Year of the Rabbit. Feingewicht total: 24.31 Gramm. Polierte Platte. FDC. In Originalschachtel mit Zertifikat. (dominion of Canada, fifteen dollars of 2011, year of the rabbit. Choice Proof, In original box with certificate.)"

This NCLT accompanied a conventional round coin of 2011 (KM 1049). Canada has used this denomination for Chinese lunar calendar NCLT's since 1998.

Recorded mintage: 19,888.

Specification: 31.11 g, 0.999 fine silver, 1.000 troy oz, 38 mm diameter.
