This specimen was lot 39064 in Stack's Bowers Winter sale (Baltimore, November 2015), where it sold for $1,527.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 300 Dollars, 2011. GEM BRILLIANT PROOF. Platinum. Mintage of 200 with certificate numbered 101/200. Gem proof with a terrific design revealing every whisker on the cougar. In case of issue. Krause catalog value of $1,950. Total of 0.9931 Troy ounces APW."
