Canada issued silver five cent pieces 1858-1921. In 1920, the coin was debased from .925 to 0.800 fine, then in 1921 it was converted to a nickel piece very similar to the U. S. five cent coin. This specimen was lot 34482 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $318. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 5 Cents, 1913. PCGS MS-66." This date is common.

Specification: 1.16 grams, 0.925 fine silver, reeded edge.
