This specimen was lot 23451 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $1,527.50. The catalog description^[1] noted, "George V 25 Cents 1913, MS64 PCGS, an appealing example with full mint bloom, wispy patina and unusually blemish-free surfaces. From The Nikita Collection." The type was struck in sterling silver 1912-19 and in 0.800 fine silver 1920-36. This date is readily available up thru Extremely Fine but quite scarce in choice condition.

Recorded mintage: 1,215,397.

Specification: 5.83 g, 0.925 fine silver, .173 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
