This specimen was lot 1104 in Jean Elsen sale 142 (Brussels, September 2019), where it sold for €140 (about US$182 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA, Victoria (1837-1901), AR 10 cents, 1885. Fine - Very Fine." The type was struck in 1858 and 1870-1901. The 1885 is a scarce date tho not rare like the 1875-H, 1884 or 1889.
Recorded mintage: 400,000.
Specification: 2.32 g, 0.925 fine silver, .069 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
