This specimen was lot 23283 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (Newport Beach, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $336. The catalog description^[1] noted, "CANADA. Lower CANADA. Quebec. Saint-Roch. Maison Jacques Cartier Bronze Token, ND (ca. 1885). NGC MS-63 Red Brown. A delightful specimen featuring a beaver, this choice token presents a mix and red-brown hues with some hints of cobalt and violet as well. Ex: Paul Montz Collection."
