This specimen was lot 26304 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $411.25. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Victoria 25 Cents 1885, Fine 15 ICCS, a low mintage key to the Victorian 25 cent series with significant demand at all grade levels." The type was struck in 1858 and 1870-1901. This date is quite scarce.

Recorded mintage: 192,000.

Specification: 5.81 g, 0.925 fine silver, .173 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
