This specimen was lot 1292 in Jean Elsen sale 119 (Brussels, December 2013), where it sold for 140 euro (about US$227 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ALLEMAGNE, BRUNSWICK-WOLFENBÜTTEL, Carl Ier (1735-1780), AR Albertustaler, 1747, Brunswick. Droit: Croix de Bourgogne posée sur un grand écu couronné. Revers: Ecu de Brunswick séparant la date. Très Beau à Superbe. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Charles I (1735-80), silver Albertus thaler of 1747, Brunswick mint. Obverse: cross of Burgundy on a large crowned shield; reverse: arms of Brunswick divide the date. Very fine to Extremely fine.)"

This one year type is surprisingly more common than many multiyear types of the mid-eighteenth century, such as Dav-2163, Dav-2156 and Dav-2161.
