Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel 1716-HH 2/3 thaler KM-757
This specimen was lot 5055 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €280 (about US$362 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, FÜRSTENTUM, August Wilhelm, 1714-1731. 2/3 Taler 1716, Zellerfeld. Feine Patina, winz. Kratzer, vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Gerhard Hirsch 62, München 1969, Nr. 735. (duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Augustus William, 1714-31, two-thirds thaler of 1716, Zellerfeld mint. Fine patina, minor scratches, extremely fine.)"
This "leaping stallion" gulden was struck 1716-30 and has an average catalog value. Another "leaping stallion" gulden (KM 735), with an arms obverse, was struck in 1716.
