This specimen was lot 41288 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 6 Mariengroschen, 1705. Zellerfeld Mint; mm: three stars. Anton Ulrich. PCGS AU-58. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1705-14 and is common. Six mariengroschen made one sixth of a thaler or one quarter gulden. No mintmaster appears on this coin. Another six mariengroschen was struck 1704-05 featuring the wild man (KM 653).
