This specimen was lot 551 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €65 (about US$88 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, HERZOGTUM Rudolf August und Anton Ulrich, 1685-1704. 2 Pfennig 1704, Braunschweig, auf den Tod von Rudolf August. Herrliche Patina, fast Stempelglanz. (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Rudolf Augustus and Anton Ulrich, 1685-1704, two pfennige of 1704, Brunswick mint, on the death of Rudolf Augustus. Superb patina, about uncirculated.)"
This commemorative must have been saved as it is listed as common. The SCWC lists it as silver but it is more likely billon.
