This specimen was lot 74458 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 24 Mariengroschen (2/3 Taler), 1679. Zellerfeld Mint. Rudolph August. PCGS AU-58. A lightly circulated example with golden toning just beginning to appear at the peripheries. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1677-85. Another variety, KM 516 without "V. FEIN SILB." on the reverse, was struck 1674-79.
