This specimen was lot 55643 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Calenberg. 6 Mariengroschen, 1694. Zellerfeld Mint. Ernst August. PCGS AU-55. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1693-98 and was worth one sixth of a thaler or one quarter gulden. The leaping stallion reverse was used on KM 376 with mintmark HB.
