This is an example of a type struck 1791-1808 at Potosi, Bolivia (then called Upper Peru). It replaced the half real of Charles III but is scarcer. Assayer PR is recorded for 1776-95. The early dates featured a curious "local bust."
Recorded mintage: unknown but not common.
Specification: 1.69 g, 0.896 fine silver, .048 troy oz ASW.
