This specimen was lot 42276 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $456. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Bengal Presidency. 1/4 Mohur, AH 1204 Year 19 (1819). Calcutta (as "Murshidabad") Mint. NGC MS-62." This type was struck with a frozen date along with KM 110, which was 3.31 g, 0.917 fine gold. While the Mughal Empire lasted, the British in Bengal were careful to strike coinage in the emperor's name. Only the coppers showed the arms of the East India Company.
