Bavaria 1626 thaler Dav-6070
This specimen was lot 559 in Sincona sale 89 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 650 CHF (about US$859 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Bayern, Herzogtum, seit 1623 Kurfürstentum, Maximilian I. 1598-1651. Taler 1626, München. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Gutes vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Frankfurter Münzhandlung 139, Frankfurt am Main, November 1992, Los 778. (Germany, duchy of Bavaria, Maximilian I, 1598-1651, thaler of 1626, Munich mint. Rare in this condition, Good extremely fine.)"
