This specimen was lot 74161 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $840. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Ducat, 1823-E. Karlsburg (Alba Iulia) Mint. Franz I. PCGS AU-55. Lightly circulated and appealing, this Ducat delivers much charm and appeal." This type was struck at five mints (A, B, E, G, V) 1816-24. There is no premium for this date. Friedberg lists this under Hungary (the Karlsburg mint was in Transylvania) but the design was standard at all the Hapsburg mints.
