This specimen was lot 1383 in Jean Elsen sale 143 (Brussels, December 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"AUTRICHE, François Ier (1806-1835), AV ducat, 1823B, Kremnitz. Fines griffes. Très Beau à Superbe. (empire of Austria, Francis I, 1806-35, gold ducat of 1823, Kremnitz mint. Fine scratches, Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"

This type was struck at five mints (A, B, E, G, V) 1816-24. There is no premium for this date.

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold.
