This specimen was lot 4162 in Sincona sale 39 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 140 CHF (about US$168 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"AUSTRIA, Franz II. (I.), 1792-1835 Halbtaler 1818 V. Venedig. Schön/sehr schön. (empire of Austria, Francis I, 1792-1835, half thaler of 1818, Venice mint. Fine/very fine.)"
This half thaler was struck for emperor Francis I 1817-24 from six mints (A, B, C, E, G, V). Mintages, where recorded, are generally small (<100,000). This one likely circulated in Lombardy-Venetia.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a better date.
