This specimen was lot 74493 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Taler, 1818-B. Kremnitz Mint. Franz I. NGC AU-58. A lustrous and bold example of the type with amazing charm and appeal." This thaler was issued 1817-24 from seven mints and is common. Altho Kremnitz was in Hungary, this thaler is listed under Austria as it was struck to the common design.

Specification: 28.06 g, 0.833 fine silver, 40 mm diameter, edge lettered IVSTITIA REGN FVNDAMENTVM.
