Sincona sale 101, part of lot 3319

This specimen was part of lot 3319 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 130 CHF (about US$196 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Joseph II. 1765-1790. 20 Kreuzer 1786 F, 1787 F, Hall. Dazu: Leopold II. 1790-1972. 20 Kreuzer 1792 F, Hall. Franz II. (I.), 1792-1835. 20 Kreuzer 1796 F, Hall. Lot von 4 Stück. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Joseph II, 1765-90, twenty kreuzer of 1786, 1787, Hall mint; Leopold II, 1790-92, twenty kreuzer of 1792, Hall mint; Francis II, 1792-1835, twenty kreuzer of 1796, Hall mint. Very Fine-Extremely Fine. four pieces.)"

This type was struck 1790-92 at six mints (A, B, E, F, G, H). Four mints also struck twenty kreuzer for Francis II in 1792 (KM 2139) but not Hall. Twenty kreuzer was one sixth of a convention thaler.

Recorded mintage: 311,000, a better date.

Specification: 6.68 g, 0.583 fine silver.
